Paper hits the Big Time in the Big Apple!
It's the most wonderful time of year for the paper and social expression market...the National Stationery Show is here! For most in this industry, attending the NSS is like looking into a crystal ball. The future of the paper industry seems to come alive on the showfloor that is packed with the styles and trends that will be shaping sales for the next year.

One area of particular interest will be paper items for children. Already, stationery store owners have been taking note of the importance of having something for all ages, including the youngest pen- or crayon-gripping consumer. Read more in the Trend Alert below.

I hope to see you all in Manhattan next week! Between the educational and networking opportunities, not to mention the great new products, the NSS is truly the place to be to make sure your future in the paper industry is as bright as possible.

CHILD'S PLAY

In order to ensure that the social expression market persists, it is necessary to attract the children of today’s consumers. Finding products that will interest and engage younger browsers is one of the best ways to establish what will hopefully turn out to be a new generation of stationery buyers.

Stationery items ranging from fill-in thank you notes to craft kits are sure to thrill kids and adults. Young minds will be engaged and adult buyers will be willing to spend money on products that will encourage their little ones to appreciate the wonders of paper.
